What HORIZONTE is — and is not
HORIZONTE is a discovery platform. It shows residential complexes, villas and apartments listed by property companies, and lets you save them, request a visit and read and write reviews.
Every listing is provided by the company that published it. Prices, availability, floor plans, photos, 360° tours and descriptions are that company’s responsibility. HORIZONTE does not own, sell or rent any property, is not an agent or broker, and is not a party to any sale, rental, reservation or payment between you and a company. Check every detail directly with the company, and inspect the property, before you pay anything or sign anything.
We approve each company manually before it can publish listings, but approval is not a guarantee of a company, a property or a transaction.
Who can use HORIZONTE
You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter into a binding contract, to create an account, request an appointment or post a review. Anyone may browse listings without an account.
Your account
- In the app you sign in with your Apple ID (or, where offered, your Google account). On the website, including company dashboards, you sign in with a mobile number and a one-time SMS code. Use accounts and numbers that belong to you.
- Keep your Apple or Google account and your phone secure — anyone who controls them can reach your HORIZONTE account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Any contact phone you give us must be your own and reachable, because companies use it to arrange visits.
- Use your real name. Do not impersonate another person or a company.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app.
Appointment requests
An appointment is a request to visit a property. It is not confirmed until the company confirms it, and the company may confirm, reschedule or decline it. You must give a contact phone with each request. When you send it, your name, that phone number, your chosen date and time and any note are shared with that company so it can contact you. Please attend the visits you book, or cancel them in the app. The visit itself, and anything agreed during it, is between you and the company.
Reviews and other content you post
You may post one review, with a rating and an optional comment, for each listing. Reviews are public and are shown with your name. A review must reflect your own genuine experience of the property or the company.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give HORIZONTE a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within the service for as long as it is published. You can delete your review at any time.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content
HORIZONTE has zero tolerance for objectionable or abusive content and for abusive users. You must not post, or use the service to send, anything that:
- harasses, threatens, bullies or intimidates anyone;
- is hateful or discriminatory towards anyone because of their religion, sect, ethnicity, nationality, gender, disability or any similar characteristic;
- is sexually explicit, obscene or violent;
- reveals another person’s private information, such as a phone number or address;
- is fake, misleading or written for a conflict of interest — for example a company reviewing itself or a competitor;
- is spam, advertising or a link to an unrelated site;
- impersonates someone else, infringes someone’s rights, or breaks the law.
Reporting, blocking and moderation
- You can report any review directly from the review. You can also block a user, so that their reviews are no longer shown to you.
- We review every report and act on it within 24 hours. Content that breaks these terms is removed.
- Users who post objectionable content, or who abuse other people, will have their content removed and may have their account suspended or permanently removed from HORIZONTE.
- We may also remove any content, or restrict any account, that we reasonably believe breaks these terms, even if it has not been reported.

Companies and listings
Companies register on the website, and every company is reviewed and approved manually before its listings appear. We may ask for documents to verify a company, and we may reject, suspend or remove a company at any time. A company that lists on HORIZONTE agrees that:
- it is authorised to market every property it lists;
- its listings — prices, availability, photos, plans and descriptions — are accurate, lawful and kept up to date;
- it will use visitors’ names and phone numbers only to handle their appointment requests, and not for unrelated marketing without their consent;
- it is solely responsible for its listings and for its dealings with users.
Using the service fairly
Do not copy or scrape listings or user data in bulk; do not reverse-engineer, overload, probe or interfere with the service or its security; do not request sign-in codes for numbers that are not yours or automate requests; and do not use HORIZONTE for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The HORIZONTE name, logo, design and software belong to us. Listing content belongs to the company that published it. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors. You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial property search.
Disclaimers and liability
HORIZONTE is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not guarantee that listings are complete, correct or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HORIZONTE is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a property, a listing, a visit or a transaction between you and a company, or from content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Iraqi law.
Ending your use
You can stop using HORIZONTE and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we need to close to protect other users or to comply with the law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app about any significant change before it takes effect. If you keep using HORIZONTE after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be decided by the competent courts of the Republic of Iraq.
